I share here the translation to English of my interview with Mauricio de Maria y Campos (1943-2021), former board member of the Institute for Industrial Development and Economic Growth. He was Undersecretary of Industrial Development and Director General of UNIDO. The interview was published in 26th edition of Comercio Exterior Magazine (New Era, April - June 2021, pp. 59 - 64), a few days after de Maria y Campos' passing.
